HONOLULU (KHON2) — A lucky Taco Bell employee will be able to pursue her dreams after being awarded the Live Más Scholarship for higher education.
This year, Nanakuli Team Member Catalina Naki-Alforte was awarded the $10,000 scholarship to become part of the 280 lucky Taco Bell Team Members who also received it nationwide.
Naki-Alforte also plans to pursue a career in law enforcement, which the scholarship will also help her achieve.

According to the Taco Bell Foundation, $2.8 million in Live Más Scholarship funds have been awarded this year alone.
Reports said the funds are meant to support students between ages 16 and 26 to help them “create a better future and positively impact their community.”
Each recipient can receive scholarships from $5,000 to $25,000.
