HONOLULU (KHON2) — Court documents reveal new details of what lead up to Sunday’s deadly double stabbing in Nanakuli.
According to the documents the suspect was complaining about his order.
The victim, who we know to be 22-year-old Kashka Otto, asked the suspect if he needed help.
The documents go on to say that the suspect said something that upset Otto which prompted him to want to fight the suspect.
That’s when a coworker tried to stop Otto saying he was on the clock, so the documents say Otto clocked out and challenged the suspect to fight outside.
The documents continue by adding the suspect called Otto a derogatory term which led Otto to attempt to punch him, and that’s when he was stabbed.
Otto died at the hospital.
The suspect is charged with murder and attempted murder. He remains in custody on a $1 million dollar bail.
The suspect is also accused of stabbing the manager.
