HONOLULU (KHON2) — An abandoned building near the airport was the scene of a three-alarm fire Wednesday morning.
HFD was called to the building, that used to be a Kia dealership, around 11:13 a.m.
At 12:20 the third alarm went out.
Workers in the area told KHON2 that they smelled something burning, then they heard sirens.
They saw heavy smoke coming from the building.
HFD remains at the scene and will be releasing more information.
