HONOLULU (KHON2) — An overnight attempted murder investigation is underway after a 36-year-old woman shot at her ex-boyfriend, according to police.
The Honolulu Police Department arrested 36-year-old Malia Ka’alaneo Lajala for attempted murder two after she allegedly shot at her 40-year-old ex-boyfriend with a handgun and fled the scene of the crime.
The incident is said to have occurred in the University area at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov.16.
An APB was put out on Lajala’s vehicle, and it was later located in the Kapolei area where she was identified and arrested around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.
