HONOLULU (KHON2) — An apparent overnight shooting in Waianae Friday night left a 19-year-old male in serious condition.
According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the 19-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.
EMS were able to transport the patient to a trauma center.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 11:14 p.m. and the police investigation shut down both eastbound lanes on Farrington Hwy between Lualualei & Pohanu.
The road has since been reopened.
