Pedestrian, driver injured following crash at Honolulu Airport

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a 65-year-old pedestrian at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Multiple units were sent to the lower level of the airport just outside of customs where a male driver in his 60s struck the female pedestrian.

First responders administered advanced life support to both patients. EMS reported that the driver is in critical condition, while the pedestrian remains in serious condition.

Both patients were transported to the hospital.
