MCCULLY, Hawaii (KHON2) — A beloved all-you-can-eat restaurant in McCully will spend the first month of 2025 saying final goodbyes to its customers.
McCully Buffet, which sits in Hana Market on McCully Street, announced on Monday, Dec. 30 that they will cease operations Sunday, Feb. 2.
The establishment is known for its wide variety of sushi, sashimi, yakiniku and Korean specialties.
According to officials, the business will not undergo new ownership but instead, will undergo renovations to introduce a new Korean dining concept.
The plan for the new concept has yet to be confirmed, but it includes a cook-at-your-table yakiniku and signature Korean entrees.
In the meantime, McCully Buffet will feature a Weekend Special where guests can enjoy crab, sushi, sashimi and yakiniku one last time every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the price of $59.99.
Officials note the crab special will only be featured during dinner hours, but customers can still purchase the normal buffet offering or upgrade to the all-you-can-eat crab.

Walk-ins and reservations will be accepted until Feb. 1. The new Korean dining concept is expected to open in Spring 2025.
