Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park closed due to weather conditions

HAWAII, Hawaii (KHON2) — Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park will be closed until further notice due to hazardous surf conditions and resource damage.

The Department of the Interior cited the health and safety of staff and visitors as the driving force in closing the park. The park asks the public to heed all closures.
