Rainbow Wahine ends homestand with 41-point win

The Hawaii Rainbow Wahine hosted Arkansas – Pine Bluff to close out a six-game homestand.

The game started slow as UH scored only 9 points on 3-for-15 shooting, but held the Golden Lions to only 2 points in the 1st quarter.

At halftime, UH found themselves with a 21-9 lead with 6 players scoring.

In the 3rd quarter is when the tables turned for UH as they scored 25 points and allowing 0 points. UH held Arkansas – Pine Bluff scoreless in the 3rd quarter as the Golden Lions shot 0-for-16. The Rainbow Wahine shot 60% on 9-for-15 shooting. Brooklyn Rewers led the game with 11 points through 3.

In the 4th quarter, UH held onto their lead and closed it out with a 56-15 win.

UH with a school record as they held the Golden Lions to the fewest points for a Division I opponent vs Hawaii.

Hawaii improves to 6-3 on the season.
