Recall: DOH alerts residents of Meadow Gold chocolate milk

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawai‘i Department of Health is alerting Hawaii residents to a recall of a milk product.

Meadow Gold Dairy issued a recall of its half-pint-sized chocolate milk marked with an Oct. 16, 2025, expiration date.

The DOH said the chocolate milk, which was made and packaged out of state, is being recalled due to potential quality control issues.

Approximately 70,000 units were distributed in Hawaii since they were received on Sept. 29, with most being distributed to schools, including schools on Oahu, Maui and Kauai.

The DOH adds that if your child encounters a Meadow Gold chocolate milk that looks, smells or tastes unusual, do not consume it and throw it away.
