Former Saint Louis, University of Hawaii and San Jose State quarterback Chevan Cordeiro was waived by the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.
Cordeiro originally signed with the Seahawks immediately after the 2024 NFL Draft as an undrafted free agent.

Cordeiro and Taulia Tagovailoa competed in rookie minicamp for the Seahawks, who are down to Geno Smith and Sam Howell as the only active quarterbacks on their roster. Tagovailoa has since received a minicamp invite with the Arizona Cardinals.
