HONOLULU (KHON2) — After frustration from University of Hawaii football fans, Spectrum is agreeing to reimburse customers who missed the final game of the season due to access issues.
KHON’s Action Line, in collaboration with the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Office of Consumer Protection, contacted Spectrum after receiving several calls from customers who wanted a refund because they couldn’t watch the game, but were having trouble getting a credit applied.
Including the calls to Action Line, the DCCA also received a handful of reports regarding this issue.
Spectrum said customers who experienced problems can contact the Video Repair Customer Service Team at 808-582-6100 to receive the appropriate credit if the game was included in their package and they were unable to view it.
If customers are still having trouble getting a refund, they can contact the DCCA Cable Television Division at 808-586-2620 or by email at cabletv@dcca.hawaii.gov.
