HONOLULU (KHON2) — A stalled boat on H-1 heading eastbound near the Kalaeloa offramp in Kapolei meant a cramped start for morning commuters.
According to motorists, the boat had been there overnight.
KHON2 reached out to the Department of Transportation to see what the issue could be.
According to DOT, they referred to Honolulu Police Department to remove the item.
After much back and forth between officials and towing companies, Chris Muraoka of SureCan LLC and Carrick Towing were able to removed it from traffic.
