At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2024, a Honolulu police officer was traveling northbound on Ka Uka Boulevard when his vehicle was broadsided by a juvenile male operating an e-bike.

The motorcyclist, who was traveling westbound on Waipio Uka Street, collided with the officer’s vehicle.

As a result of the crash, both the juvenile motorcyclist and his juvenile male passenger were ejected onto the roadway. They were both transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The officer was not injured in the collision.
