The all-queer cast will kick off World Pride Month with a Cabaret Show & Pride Party at Club 939 on Saturday, June 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 on the day of the show.

The dance troupe will close out Pride Month celebrations on the World-Famous Pineapple Stage at O’ahu’s premier gay bar, Scarlet Honolulu. This event will be $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the show.

The Aphrodisiacs create femme-powered, interactive theater with a strong focus on dance and sensual expression. They pride themselves on producing visually stunning performance art and delivering unique and empowering experiences for their audience.

Unlike other burlesque troupes, all members are classically trained dancers who bring dynamic choreography and athleticism to their shows.

Run by queer womxn, The Aphrodisiacs celebrate all body types and aesthetics and cast performers from diverse backgrounds and appearances.

The troupe’s mission is to bring body-positive burlesque out of a heteronormative space and to focus on queer expression and serving the local 2SLGBTQ+ community.
