Maila shared, “Locally owned Paradise Poke began a few years ago during the pandemic. Today, there are four Paradise Poke locations on Oahu. The newest location is at Hawaii Kai Towne Center, where they’ve been happy to serve Eastside customers with the best Hawaiian-style poke, ono plates, musubis, and more. The company was born from a fisherman’s family that wanted to provide the community with fresh, locally sourced fish. In fact, the Paradise Poke mission is to support our local fishermen by serving only sustainable, fresh fish. As a local business, whenever possible, Paradise Poke will source its many ingredients from local vendors.”

What makes Paradise Poke special is its focus on quality ingredients and unique flavors. Of course, it all starts with high-quality sashimi-grade fish (never frozen), but it doesn’t stop there. They also use premium-grade rice—Tamaki Gold. And they incorporate unique flavors, including truffle ponzu. Beyond amazing bowls, you’ll also find tasty plates (garlic shrimp, short ribs and baked salmon) and some prepackaged “grab-n-go” options.

Maila also shared that Paradise Poke is a 3x Poke Champion as they recently won the fan-favorite vote once again at Frolic Hawaii’s 2024 Poke Fest. They competed among nineteen poke contenders to take the title with a Saigon Cru Poke with lemongrass, lime and Thai Chile – a menu item that is now available at all four locations, including at Hawaii Kai Towne Center.
Customers can also be on the lookout for the new Garlic Chicken and Roast Pork plate, which will be coming out in June.
