Traffic delays expected this week due to sewer work

HONOLULU (KHON2) — From May 6 through May 10, the Department of Environmental Services will be conducting sewer work in Kailua, Kalihi-Palama and Moiliili.

Officials said traffic will be affected between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for crews and contractors to conduct work.

The following work will be conducted:

Main Rehabilitation

May 6: 710 Kailua Rd., Kailua & 2403 Coyne St. Moiliili

May 7: 105 Oneawa St., Kailua

May 7-10: 106 Puuhale Rd., Kalihi-Palama

Lateral Rehabilitation

May 8: 105 Oneawa St., Kailua

May 9: 29 Hoolai St., Kailua

May 10: 1304 Mokapu Blvd., Kailua

Manhole Rehabilitation

May 10: 106/108 Puuhale Rd., Kalihi-Palama

City crews and contractors will also be working on a road replacement sewer project on Waiakamilo Road between Dillingham Boulevard and Hart Street.
