HONOLULU (KHON2) — Two pairs of drug-stuffed shoes were discovered in a passenger’s carry-on at Ellison Onizuka International Airport, reported the Transportation Security Administration.
Officers found an assortment of drugs, including:
- 108.1 grams of heroin
- 500 fentanyl pills
- 3.2 grams of ketamine
- 244.6 grams of meth
- 7.7 grams of brown sugar heroin
- 12 acid tabs
- 25 Xanax bars
- 10 soma pills


“If your socks are stuffed with more than cotton, you’re bound to trip up. In this case, there was enough illicit junk to take you on a different kind of trip,” said TSA in a social media post.
TSA reminded passengers law enforcement will get involved if illegal substances are discovered.
The shoe puns continued in their statement.
“That smuggling plan? Toe-tally defeated.”
