Unidentified body recovered from storm drain on Dole Street

MANOA, Hawaii (KHON2) — Honolulu police are investigating the death of an unidentified body that was found on Dole Street.

Honolulu police were called to the scene shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday on the 2600 block of Dole Street.

HFD firefighters were called to assist just before 4 p.m. to help locate and retrieve the body from a storm drain.

In a social media post, HPD said investigators are still at the scene.
