HONOLULU (KHON2) — About 250 University of Hawaii students are gearing up to take the next step in their life’s journey.
The students received their diplomas Saturday morning in a mid-year commencement ceremony held on campus.
About 160 students participated in the ceremony.
They earned their bachelor’s degrees in applied sciences, business administration, creative media, and cybersecurity — to name a few.
The school also honored outgoing UH president David Lassner who is retiring at the end of the year’s term.
UH Manoa will hold its commencement ceremony Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the Stan Sheriff Center.
UH Hilo will also hold its commencement next Saturday. Dec. 14, 2024 at the UH Hilo Vulcan Gym.
