HONOLULU (KHON2) — This is Weekend Roundup, your go-to destination for weekend planning in the islands. For this weekend, we have everything from line dancing, parades and more.

September 20
Oʻahu
There will be an Aloha Vintage Exchange hosted by Parley Hawaiʻi at the Twin Fin Hotel in Waikīkī.
Parley Hawaiʻi invites attendees to show up with classic aloha attire and exchange your aloha shirt with another aloha shirt. The event hopes to promote sustainability and the recycling of clothes, allowing attendees to get a new-to-them shirt.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about challenges and opportunities in the fashion industry, from an environmental perspective.

Later that night, Aloha Festivals will be hosting the 71st annual Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The beachfront festival is the largest block party in the islands, with Kalākaua Avenue housing countless booths, food and craft vendors, entertainers and more.
There are several event stages to highlight local talent, while attendees are able to peruse local businesses.

Hawaiʻi Island
Oʻahu isn’t the only island having a party this weekend — the Big Island will be having their 73rd annual Paniolo Parade and Hoʻolauleʻa at 10 a.m.
The parade will showcase paniolo culture and history as it travels from Waimea Park to Kalani Schutte District Park.
The Hoʻolauleʻa will commence after the parade at Kalani Schutte District Park until 4 p.m. The party will be complete with live music and entertainment, a petting zoo, food trucks, contests and more.

Kauaʻi
There will be a free oldies rock ‘n’ roll concert at Poipu Beach Park from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event is family friendly, and participants are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets.
In addition to the classic rock songs, there will also be a bit of funk and disco music for the ʻohana to enjoy.
September 21
Oʻahu
The Hawaiian Humane Society will be having a collaborative event with Aloha Beer Co., an independent craft brewery in Kakaʻako.
At the brewery’s dog-friendly beer garden, the humane society will be there registering pet owners for the 2025 PetWalk, the Hawaiian Humane Society’s annual community fundraiser.
There will also be exclusive Aloha Beer Co. x Hawaiian Humane Society merchandise for sale, as well as drinks from the brewery.
The registration event will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 700 Queen St.
At Mai Tai’s Ala Moana, there will be a country night party from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
The party will be complete with country music, line dancing and adult beverages.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their country western gear for the 21+ party, which can be found at the Hoʻokipa Terrace at the Ala Moana Center.
Don’t know how to line dance? No worries! There will be plenty of learning opportunities at Mai Tai’s.

Hawaiʻi Island
In the heart of Kailua-Kona, there will be the Kokua Kailua monthly vendor stroll.
Attendees are invited to Aliʻi Drive, which will be transformed into a pedestrian marketplace complete with food, live entertainment and craft vendors.
The market will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and is pet-friendly.
Kauaʻi
On the island’s south side, the Beach House Restaurant will be having their Beach House Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
More than 40 vendors will be in attendance selling handcrafted items and food.
