HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Fire Department is responding to a wildland fire incident in Kapolei.
The fire was first reported around 8:15 p.m. according to officials, with firefighters arriving on the scene shortly after.
According to the HFD, there is no threat to any structures at this time. While officials say there is no urgent action required by the public, it is important to stay alert and avoid the area.
According to the Department of Emergency Management, the fire is about 75% contained and spans approximately 20 acres.
