HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police are investigating an attempted murder after a woman was critically injured in an early morning shooting on Oahu’s North Shore.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a shooting in the Kahuku area.
Investigators said a verbal argument between a man and a 30-year-old woman escalated when the man shot her in the upper torso.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
As of Wednesday morning, the suspect had not been located.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
