First responders got to the woman’s location at around 5:16 p.m. and provided basic life support following a medical assessment. HFD says the woman’s boyfriend was found on a steep, slippery slope after attempting to get down to her.

HFD officials were able to use rope to get to the man’s location and helped him ascend back to the top. Firefighters brought the woman back to the parking lot, where she was transferred over to Emergency Medical Services.

According to EMS, the woman was taken to a hospital in serious condition after she sustained multiple injuries from the fall, where she landed on some rocks.
