HONOLULU (KHON2) — The “Young at Heart Expo” is taking place Sept. 26 to Sept. 27, 2025 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. What many look forward to is the Al Waterson Celebrities and Their Pets Fashion Show.
Host of the fashion show and nationally-acclaimed singer Jordan Segundo tells us this is a very special event created by Al Waterson and Nancy Bernal 18 years ago, which brings awareness to pet adoption and encourages volunteerism and fostering for dogs and cats.
Unfortunately, Al Waterson passed away last year and his wife, Nancy Bernal, is continuing his legacy and his love for animals by coordinating and directing this event in his honor.
The Al Waterson Celebrities and Their Pets Fashion Show will be on the main stage at the Young at Heart Expo on Saturday, Sept. 27 at noon, and admission is free. Come early and meet the celebrities and the adoptable dogs and get your seats early by the main stage.
