HONOLULU (KHON2) — A Hawaii favorite is doing so well on the mainland, that it has to make a second location!
Another Zippy’s location is coming to Las Vegas Valley and will be located in Summerlin Valley.
The newest location is set to open in early 2025 and will be about 16 miles away from Zippy’s flagship Vegas restaurant at Arroyo Crossing, which opened one year ago.
According to Zippy’s Vice President, Marketing and Communications Kevin Yim, Zippy’s reception in Las Vegas has been “absolutely enormous.”
“We are Yelp’s most photographed restaurant in the nation and part of that is because of the number of people, not just from Hawaii, who want to go and try our food and see if it’s just like they remember from home, but also a lot of people who live in Las Vegas and have heard all the news and hype,” Kim added.
In the meantime, Las Vegas Zippy’s guests are invited to visit the Arroyo Crossing location to celebrate its one-year anniversary.
Guests are invited to enjoy the special “Vegas Pac,” which features all of Hawaii’s favorites in one plate.
The plate consists of fried chicken, Korean fried chicken, SPAM, frank, chili of your choice, macaroni salad and three scoops of rice with furikake.
The special lasts until Nov. 3.
