HONOLULU (KHON2) — Black smoke was seen billowing over onto the H-1 eastbound offramp Wednesday afternoon as HFD responded to reports of a fire in the area.
The incident, reported just after noon, was in the area of the H-1 eastbound exit at Nimitz Highway.
Smoke could be seen on the Cityʻs traffic cameras as far back as the airport industrial area.
HFD was at the scene and were able to contain the fire at 75% before 12:30 p.m.
