Hawaii’s Marcus Mariota is set to return to the Washington Commanders in the 2025-26 NFL Season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter breaking the news on Wednesday that the former Saint Louis standout quarterback will re-sign with the Commanders to a 1-year $8 million deal.
In his career, Mariota has played in 93 games, throwing for 16,184 yards and 97 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,156 yards with 18 touchdowns.
Last season Mariota played in 3 games, where he threw for 364 yards and 4 touchdowns and rushing for 92 yards and 1 touchdown.
The 2014 Heisman Trophy Winner will return to Washington for his 2nd season with the team and 11th season in the NFL.
