Trade your guns for gift cards at Aloha Stadium

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The state Department of Law Enforcement is hoping to get more guns off the streets with another “Gun Buyback Program” incentive.

Oahu residents with firearms are encouraged to head to Aloha Stadium on Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to trade them in exchange for gift cards.

Firearms must be unloaded and placed in a container or box in the vehicle’s trunk.

Drivers will remain in their vehicles while law enforcement officers recover the firearm, no questions asked and no identification required.
