HONOLULU (KHON2) — If you’re looking to enjoy Hawaii’s summer skies, a series of free public stargazing events at Prince Waikiki might be just what you’re after.
WakeUp2Day’s Chris Latronic went live from the scenic hotel rooftop to learn more about Cosmics & Cocktails, a weekly event that combines skywatching and skyline views. He met up with Nick Bradley, owner of Stargazers of Hawaii, who gave a sneak peek of the celestial sights guests can expect — all viewed through his state-of-the-art telescopes.
The free events are held every Friday from 8 to 10 p.m. through June and July. Visitors can observe the Moon, Mars, the Milky Way’s dazzling star clusters, and more — all with expert guidance. Bonus: you’ll also have a front-row seat to the Friday night fireworks.
