HONOLULU (KHON2) — KHON2 is celebrating Founder’s Day by giving back to the local community — this year by supporting long-time partner Keiki O Ka ʻĀina and its Laulima Giving Program.
The station is hosting a school supply drive on Friday, June 20, at Fisher Hawaii in Kaka‘ako (690 Pohukaina Street) from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Viewers are invited to stop by and donate new school supplies like pencils, paper, crayons, markers, folders, and more. Every item collected will help keiki in need get ready for the upcoming school year.
Keiki O Ka ʻĀina Family Learning Centers is a local nonprofit that serves Native Hawaiian families through early childhood education, parenting support, and programs rooted in Hawaiian culture.
