HONOLULU (KHON2) — Zippy’s is headed to Henderson. The popular Hawai‘i-based restaurant chain announced Friday it will open its third Southern Nevada location this fall at 9570 S. Eastern Avenue, just a short drive from Harry Reid International Airport.
“We are thrilled to open our S. Eastern location!” said Belma Soliven, Zippy’s regional operations director. “Bringing Zippy’s to the S. Eastern community is an opportunity for us to share a little piece of our home from Hawai‘i with more of our ʻohana here in Southern Nevada.”
Ahead of the grand opening, Zippy’s is hiring for a wide range of positions from kitchen and front-of-house staff to management roles. The company will host two in-person hiring events:
- Wednesday, July 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at EmployNV Career Hub, 4500 Sunset Road, Suite 40
- Wednesday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at EmployNV Career Hub (inside the Green Valley Library), 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway

Zippy’s opened its first Nevada location in 2023 and has been expanding steadily since, introducing locals and transplants alike to its signature chili, Korean fried chicken, and saimin.
