Repaving prompts closure in Terminal 2 at HNL

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) announced a repaving project for the inner roadway in front of Terminal 2 at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL).

According to HDOT, from Monday, July 29, through Tuesday, August 6, the roadway between baggage claims 16 and 29 will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During this period, all curbside passenger pickups will be redirected to the Diamond Head Group Tour area, while arriving passengers will be directed to the International Group Tour area.

The outer roadway will remain open, and message boards and signs will guide both motorists and passengers through the changes.
