HONOLULU (KHON2) — Just after 7 p.m. on March 31, Honolulu Police Department alerted the public to stay away from the area surrounding Farrington High School, citing an “argument between two groups” and advising residents to avoid the area.
At approximately 7:55 p.m., HPD sent out an update on the situation, saying on social media that there was possible gunfire. While no gunshot victims were identified, one individual was assaulted with a bat and taken to the hospital in good condition, per HPD.
It appears police are at the scene searching the are for any leads. This is a developing scenario. Anyone with any information is urged to call 911.
