HONOLULU (KHON2) — Enjoy, a local brand known for its sweets, is introducing a new group of Li Hing flavored goodies, called the “Li Hing It!” line.
The brand said the new snack line will use a new Li Hing recipe that contains no artificial coloring. The seven new snacks include:
- Mini 3D Gummy Pineapple.
- Mini 3D Gummy Lychee.
- Sour Gummy Pineapple Rings.
- Sour Gummy Lychee.
- Sour Gummy Plume “Ume”.
- Sour Gummy Mango.
- Dried Mango.
Each of the new snacks are seasoned with Enjoy’s signature Li Hing powder made from dried salted plum, which the brand said captures Hawaiʻi’s sweet-salty-sour flavor profile.
“The Li Hing It! name reflects the local tradition of sprinkling Li Hing on everything — from gummy bears and shave ice to fruits and beverages,” said David Oshiro of KTM Services, Inc. “We wanted to honor and promote this local favorite flavor while introducing a fun, new take on it, using a cleaner recipe.”
The snacks will be provided in a resealable foil bag, to keep the sweets fresh.
