HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiʻi’s own Kahuku Farms has won Newsweek’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Farm-to-Table Restaurant! Located on Oʻahu’s North Shore, this extraordinary cafe has captured the hearts of people across the United States.

This national award honors the work of the family and staff who own and operate Kahuku Farms that is a pioneer in growing food in eco-friendly ways, teaching others and sharing the spirit of aloha.

When you visit Kahuku Farms, you can enjoy fresh meals made with fruits and veggies grown right on the farm. You can even ride in a wagon through the fields and see plants like acai berries, papayas and cacao trees, the same ones used in your food.

The Farm Café is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. People love tasty dishes like the sweet lilikoʻi (passion fruit) butter mochi and yummy garden-fresh paninis.

“This award means so much to us,” said Kylie Matsuda-Lum, one of the farm’s co-founders. “It shows how much people care about local food, family traditions, and the environment. We are very thankful!”
