Hawaii Football begins Spring Training Camp on Monday

The Hawaii Football team is set to start their 2025 Spring Training Camp this week.

Hawaii is coming off a 5-7 season and will have some new faces on the roster as well as new players potentially stepping into larger roles.

Hawaii Football Final & UH Football Broadcaster Rich Miano spoke with KHON2 Sports this weekend on his thoughts about this years Spring Camp.

“This is one of the most anticipated spring training camps of at least if not Timmy Chang’s tenure, maybe in the last decade or so coming off,” said Miano.

Miano expressing the interest in seeing what the new offense will look like as Micah Alejado returns as well as Wide Receivers like Pofele Ashlock. But the offense will have a new Offensive Coordinator in Anthony Arceneaux take charge.

“Even if you go back to the road game against Utah State, where Micah Alejado was, you know, 10 of 11. Then what he did in the final week of the season, I think put all of college football on alert,” said Miano. “But with a good offensive line, with a good running game. This could be, you know, a similar situation to what we saw with June Jones, with Nick Rolovich, where this run-and-shoot numbers that are you know, passing leaders amongst the nation”.

Hawaii will get camp started on Monday, February 3rd and is expected to hold the Spring Game on March 8th.
