HONOLULU (KHON2) — If you love fried chicken, you are going to love this deal. Popeyes Hawaii announced it will be offering fried chicken “basically free” in honor of National Fried Chicken Day on Sunday, July 6.
“National Fried Chicken Day is a huge celebration for us, and we wanted to show our appreciation to the local communities that have supported us for decades,” said Sean Uezu, president of Popeyes Hawaii.
Customers can purchase a five-piece Signature Chicken box for $10 and receive a complimentary $10 promo card to use at another time.
According to the Popeyes website, a five-piece Signature Chicken is not available on their usual menu. In Hawaii locations, the cost of a four-piece Signature Chicken averages $13.
The promo card makes the chicken “basically free” and is redeemable on or after July 7.
