HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) announced Kapunahala Elementary School in Kāne‘ohe will be closed to students and faculty Monday, Jan. 27, due to a power outage and low water pressure impacting campus operations.
Staff and students’ families are being notified of the closure.
All other HIDOE public schools remain are to remain open as scheduled at this time, according to HIDOE.
