Las Vegas can’t get enough of Zippy’s, third Nevada location set to open

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Zippy’s announced their new Nevada location will open in the fall of 2025. This marks the third Zippy’s location to open in Nevada within two years.

Locals love Zippy’s and it seems like Las Vegas, often referred to as the “9th Island,” loves the restaurant too.

“Las Vegas has responded well to Zippy’s,” said Kevin Yim, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

The first Zippy’s restaurant to open in Nevada is at Arroyo Crossing, with the second restaurant in Summerlin South. The newest location will be close to the Harry Reid International Airport in Henderson.

When asked about how new locations are decided, convenience and accessibility were attributed as prime factors.

“This particular location on S. Eastern Avenue is on a very busy street that leads into the heart of Henderson,” said Yim. “This makes Zippy’s very convenient for anyone living in the southern part of the Las Vegas Valley.”

Those familiar with the local restaurant are eager to share and introduce the taste of Zippy’s with others.

According to the US Census in 2021, the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander population increased the most in the Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise area of Nevada. The total population rose to 42,825, increasing by 1,295.

“We’ve seen former Hawaii residents bring in their friends to introduce them to our brand,” said Yim. “We look forward to opening our S. Eastern location and, hopefully, many more to come.”
