HONOLULU (KHON2) — A Hawaiian Humane Society staff-favorite is this week’s Wags ‘N Whiskers featured pet.
Ahi is a sweet and curious one-year-old, 53-pound shepherd/terrier mix who has been waiting for a loving home since December.
If you want a friend who is always up for anything, Ahi is the one for you.
Hawaiian Humane officials said he is all about fun and adventure, from playing fetch to exploring new places around the island.
When Ahi isn’t showcasing his heart full of playful energy and affection, he can be seen snuggling up with his humans.
The key to Ahi’s heart: treats!
Officials said treats help Ahi become a quick learner and motivate him to learn new tricks and skills.
Take Ahi home without the fees! As a Reid Krucky Memorial Fund recipient, Ahi’s adoption fees will be waived and he will also come with goodies to settle in.
