KO OLINA (KHON2) — A 23-year-old male is in critical condition after he was brought to shore unresponsive while diving in the Ko Olina area.
Ocean Safety said they rescued four swimmers in distress at Paradise Cove and one male in the group was found unresponsive in the water.
Around 11:30 a.m., Ocean Safety brought the unresponsive male to shore and performed CPR on the diver, officials said.
Around 11:35 a.m., EMS arrived at the scene and took over to perform advanced life-saving measures on the 23-year-old male before taking him to an emergency room for further medical attention, EMS said.
