HONOLULU (KHON2) — The daughter-in-law of former crime boss Michael Miske has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for racketeering conspiracy and her role in the kidnapping and murder of Johnathan Fraser.
In January 2024, Delia Fabro-Miske pleaded guilty to a charge of racketeering conspiracy. In return, the government would dismiss a bank fraud charge after sentencing.
She admitted that in addition to wire fraud and bank fraud, she obstructed an investigation led by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Hawaii Department of Agriculture.
The Department of Justice said Fabro-Miske submitted false fumigation logs to the HDOA, which stated she was the certified applicator of chemicals on hundreds of jobs when, in reality, the jobs were completed by unlicensed applicators.
“By falsifying documents, the defendant obstructed EPA and the state’s criminal investigation of a pesticide applicator that illegally applied restricted-use pesticides,” said Benjamin Carr, Special Agent in Charge for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Criminal Investigation Division in Hawaii.
Court documents added that Fabro-Miske played a role in the kidnapping and murder of 21-year-old Johnathan Fraser.
Officials said she rekindled her friendship with Fraser and his girlfriend. On the day of Fraser’s disappearance, Fabro-Miske took his girlfriend for a “spa day” to make sure Fraser was alone when he was kidnapped.
Delia Fabro-Miske was an integral member of the Miske Enterprise, which terrorized, exploited and defrauded our community for decades. Fabro-Miske’s sentence yesterday demonstrates that those who occupy even the lower rungs of Hawaii’s criminal enterprises will pay a steep price when they face justice in federal court.

Fabro-Miske will serve 84 months of imprisonment.
Following her prison sentence, she will serve three years of supervised release and pay nearly $50,000 in restitution.

The judge granted her request to remain free on bail until she has to surrender to a designated federal facility by May 28.
