HONOLULU (KHON2) — According to Hawaiian Electric’s power outage map, nearly 8,000 customers on Oahu’s North Shore are without power.
The outage started just after 12:15 p.m. Power is expected to be restored around 2 p.m.
While the cause of the outage is unavailable at this time, HECO said the following areas are affected:
- Haleiwa
- Kahuku
- Kawailoa
- Makaha
- Mokuleia
- Pupukea
- Sunset Beach
- Wahiawa
- Waialua
