Hawaii Governor Josh Green signed House Bill 1888 into law, which requires the Department of Education and public charter schools to investigate harassment complaints, develop emergency plans, provide annual prevention training, and help employees obtain restraining orders, expanding criminal harassment protections to educational workers and sports officials.
