Honolulu police identified the suspects as Kaui Manners, 45, and Darryl Lee, 35.

Police say that Manners and Lee, along with Jordan Topinio, 35, approached two men in Kalihi on the night of December 27, 2024.

Police say one of the suspects pointed a gun at one of the men.

HPD says the same suspect threw an unknown liquid on the other victim and set him on fire while he was asleep in a car.

Authorities say the suspects left the area in a silver vehicle.

The victim who was set on fire died of his injuries on January 21, 2025.

An Oahu grand jury indicted Manners and Lee for murder in the second degree and they were arrested.
