Vendor, sponsor and volunteer open call, Maui County Fair returns

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Since 2019, the Maui County Fair has been on hiatus. Six years later, the fair will make its return in October 2025.

The 98th Maui County Fair will take place Oct. 2 to 5 at the War Memorial Special Events Complex in Wailuku. During the four-day event, all generations are welcome to gather and enjoy the festivities.

Fair hours will vary by day:

  • Thursday, Oct. 2 the fair is open 4:30 to 11 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 3, 4:30 p.m. to 12 midnight
  • Saturday, Oct. 4, 9:30 a.m. to 12 midnight
  • Sunday, Oct. 5, 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“While our official applications aren’t quite ready, we’re excited to get the ball rolling by connecting with interested vendors, parade participants, volunteers and sponsors now,” said coordinator Daryl Fujiwara.

Vendors and parade participants are advised to apply early to secure their spot. Fair officials encourage marching bands, school groups, cultural organizations and creative units to showcase their spirit in the parade.

“We’re gathering contact information and exploring the ‘ono local eats, unique crafts and valuable services our community has to offer,” Fujiwara said.
