What Is OHA, why do Hawaiʻi residents vote for its trustees?

With primary elections approaching this Saturday, August 8, Hawaii residents will vote for nine trustees to lead the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), a state agency dedicated to supporting Native Hawaiian interests.
