LIHUE, Hawaii (KHON2) — Nurses at the Wilcox Medical Center voted to ratify a new contract, which would cover approximately 160 Hawaiʻi Nurses’ Association members at the center.
“We are so pleased to reach an agreement with our nurses,” said Jen Chahanovich, CEO and president of Wilcox Medical Center. “They are integral part of the care we provide, and we are proud of the work they do alongside our entire medical team to care for our community.”
According to Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, the agreement includes a 3.5% annual raise for four years, pay increases based on seniority, retention programs and more.
“The Wilcox team is ready to move forward and focus on what matters most to us–our patients,” Chahanovich said.
