HONOLULU (KHON2) – For our Food 2Go segment, we feature Kamitoku Ramen at Ward Center which is bringing the flavors of Japan right here to Hawaii.
KHON2 was told Kamitoku Ramen – which has been in Tottori, Japan for over 70 years – was brought to Hawaii by third-generation owner Jun Kamitoku.
It started as a food truck in Waikiki 11 years ago and has now expanded to a location at Ward and a hotpot restaurant at Market City.
Kamitoku Ramen said their most popular dish is the Beefy Wild, a rich and flavorful ramen packed with the umami of beef bone broth.
On March 29 and March 30, they’re celebrating Kamitoku Ramen’s 4th anniversary by offering Beefy Wild for $8.08.
